Some of the work that the students have done in a workshop in the Mathare Special Training Center (MSTC)

A boy in class in MSTC. The students have made most of their education equipment themselves (see the background)

A group of the smaller children in MSTC. They were all really active and needy, so many teachers were required to keep the class in order.

A man walking in Mahtare. The infrastructure in Mahtare is very poor, and the trash is only dumped somewhere where there is space.

A small view over Mathare. In the "buildings" in the back of the picture about 400 000 people live, but who knows how many people there actually are..

Some mentally handicapped children of about 10 years are practicing counting with capsyles.

Some "houses" and shops on the way to Mathare.
